The Role: M&E Engineering Manager
This M&E Engineering Manager role is based primarily from the company's headquarters in Co Cavan, overseeing engineering delivery across multiple mechanical and electrical projects.
The successful candidate will come from a strong mechanical engineering background and will lead engineering teams, support project delivery, coordinate design and technical activities, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance.
You will work closely with senior management, project managers, design teams, clients, and subcontractors while providing technical leadership across a diverse project portfolio.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Building Services Manager, or M&E Engineering Lead with a strong track record delivering complex building services projects.
You possess excellent technical knowledge, strong leadership ability, and the commercial awareness required to support successful project outcomes. You are comfortable managing engineering teams, engaging with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.

The Role: M&E Engineering Manager
This M&E Engineering Manager role is based primarily from the company's headquarters in Co Cavan, overseeing engineering delivery across multiple mechanical and electrical projects.
The successful candidate will come from a strong mechanical engineering background and will lead engineering teams, support project delivery, coordinate design and technical activities, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 8 years' experience within mechanical building services or M&E contracting
- Proven experience required managing engineering teams on mechanical or M&E projects
- Must have strong HVAC, ventilation, pipework, heating, cooling, and mechanical systems knowledge
- Experience with an Irish or UK mechanical contractor is required
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering required
- Experience managing multidisciplinary M&E teams
- Pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, or commercial project experience preferred
- BIM, Revit, AutoCAD or Navisworks experience beneficial
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
- LEED, BREEAM or sustainability project experience
- Additional project management qualifications
- Lead engineering delivery across multiple M&E projects from design through installation and commissioning
- Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers and design teams
- Review mechanical designs, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions
- Coordinate engineering resources to ensure programme milestones are achieved
- Work closely with project managers to support successful programme delivery
- Manage technical risk, value engineering opportunities, and design development
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
- Support commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and project delivery
