The Role – M&E Coordinator
As M&E Coordinator, you will take ownership of the coordination and delivery of all mechanical and electrical services on a €100 million city centre redevelopment. This is a technically detailed refurbishment and extension project where careful planning, sequencing and collaboration are critical.
You will work closely with the design team, specialist MEP subcontractors and site management to ensure building services are fully integrated, compliant and delivered to programme. Your input will directly impact quality, safety and overall project performance.

Salary: €80,000 to €90,000 DOE plus package

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of mechanical and electrical services in line with the master construction programme
- Review mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals for accuracy and buildability
- Act as the link between MEP subcontractors, consultants and the main site team
- Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM and coordination models
- Monitor on site installation of HVAC, pipework, plant and associated building services systems
- Attend and lead MEP coordination meetings and technical workshops
- Ensure all works meet health and safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Support commissioning activities, inspections, snagging and final handover documentation
- Maintain accurate reporting on progress, quality and technical queries
- Strong mechanical services background with experience in HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and building services systems
- Previous experience as an M and E Coordinator, Building Services Engineer or Mechanical Project Engineer on commercial construction projects
- Proven track record working on refurbishment or constrained city centre sites
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and MEP installation methodology
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage design information effectively
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative and solutions focused approach
- Organised and detail driven, with the ability to manage multiple technical workstreams
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with BIM based coordination
