Job title: M&E Coordinator – Building Services
Location: Cork, Co Cork
Company: Established Irish Main Contractor
Package: €70,000 to €85,000 DOE + package
The Company
This established Irish main contractor delivers commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, food/pharma, residential and fit out projects across Cork and the wider Munster region.
With a growing project pipeline, they are looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator / Building Services Coordinator to manage mechanical and electrical packages across their construction projects.
The Role: M&E Coordinator
Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, consultants and specialist subcontractors, you will coordinate M&E services from design through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
A key part of the role will be managing mechanical and electrical subcontractors on behalf of the main contractor, ensuring services are properly coordinated and delivered in line with programme and quality requirements.
Must Have Requirements
You are a practical building services professional with strong M&E knowledge and the confidence to manage specialist subcontractors in a live site environment.
You will be organised, technically capable and comfortable working closely with both site and design teams.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator, Building Services Coordinator, M&E Engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical building services knowledge.
- Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors on construction projects.
- Ability to read and coordinate M&E drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Main contractor experience beneficial.
- Healthcare, commercial, industrial or food/pharma project experience advantageous.
- Testing and commissioning experience preferred.
- Manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors.
- Coordinate M&E installations with architectural and structural works.
- Review drawings, technical submittals, RFIs and services coordination.
- Monitor subcontractor progress, quality and programme.
- Resolve clashes and technical issues before they affect site works.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and handover documentation.
