We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of mechanical services projects based out of Co Mayo. This role is ideal for an early-career QS who wants to build strong foundations in cost control, procurement and contract administration while working closely with experienced commercial and project teams.
You will gain hands-on exposure to live mechanical projects, supporting commercial reporting, subcontract management and financial control from pre-construction through to final account.

Junior Quantity Surveyor Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline
- Interest in mechanical building services such as HVAC, pipework, plant and associated systems
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within project teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Willingness to learn commercial processes including valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Previous placement or graduate experience in construction or engineering is an advantage
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Assist with the preparation of cost reports, budgets and financial forecasts
- Support the measurement and valuation of mechanical works on live projects
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, enquiries and comparison of tenders
- Help manage subcontractor accounts, including payment applications and variations
- Support the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts
- Track project costs, labour and material spend against budgets
- Assist with commercial documentation including records, reports and cost trackers
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to support project delivery
- Gain exposure to contract administration and commercial controls on mechanical projects
