HV Electrical Tendering Engineer | Dublin

You are an experienced Electrical Tendering Engineer (High Voltage) looking to join a dynamic Power & Renewables team delivering large-scale, technically complex HV projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe, based out of Dublin.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role offering long-term stability, autonomy, and genuine career progression. You will work closely with engineering, commercial and operations teams, taking ownership of tendering activities from initial enquiry through to post-tender award, contributing to major infrastructure and energy projects.

Electrical Tendering Engineer Skills:

• Strong experience in High Voltage (HV) electrical systems and infrastructure projects
  
  
• Solid understanding of electrical design, construction methodologies and tender documentation
  
  
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and employer’s requirements
  
  
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting or leading bid submissions
  
  
• Strong IT skills with the ability to produce clear reports, presentations and tender documentation
  
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
  
  
• Self-motivated professional who works well independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
  
  
• A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
  
  
• Flexibility to travel as required
  
  

As an Electrical Tendering Engineer:

• Lead tendering activities for High Voltage and Power & Renewables projects
  
  
• Review tender specifications, drawings and technical documentation to identify key deliverables
  
  
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction, estimating and commercial teams
  
  
• Prepare and compile compliant, high-quality tender submissions
  
  
• Develop technical proposals and value-engineered solutions for clients
  
  
• Liaise with estimating teams on commercial proposals and cost build-ups
  
  
• Manage tender portals, submissions and document control requirements
  
  
• Attend and lead post-tender meetings, workshops and clarification sessions
  
  
• Interface directly with clients throughout tender and post-tender stages
  
  
• Coordinate electrical and civil engineering interfaces during bid preparation
  
  
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality and EHS standards
  
  
• Identify risks, efficiencies and opportunities during the tender process
  
  

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary in the region of €50,000 – €70,000 plus package, depending on experience.
