The Role – Junior Quantity Surveyor
This is a site based Junior Quantity Surveyor role supporting the commercial delivery of electrical works on a large scale project in Co. Mayo. You will work closely with senior QS and project teams, gaining exposure across cost management, procurement and subcontractor management.
You will play an important role in ensuring financial control, supporting accurate reporting and contributing to the successful delivery of the project on programme and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €40,000 to €50,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
- Support subcontractor procurement and package management
- Measure and value works completed on site
- Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitor variations and support change management processes
- Work closely with site teams to track progress against programme
- Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar
- 1 to 2 years experience in a QS or commercial role, ideally within construction or electrical contracting
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good understanding of construction processes and cost control
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Eager to learn and develop within a fast paced project environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
Salary: €40,000 to €50,000 DOE
