Job title: Junior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Fit Out
Location: Denmark, County Denmark
Company: Specialist Fit Out Contractor
Package: €40,000 to €45,000 salary including company bonus, weekly living away allowance, return flights & accommodation

This specialist fit out contractor delivers technically demanding packages across major construction projects in Ireland and Europe, with a growing workload in the data centre sector.
They have a strong pipeline of work in Denmark and across mainland Europe, offering good long term prospects for a Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to build experience on large scale data centre projects.
The Role: Junior Quantity Surveyor
This Junior Quantity Surveyor role is based in Denmark, working as part of the commercial team on a major data centre fit out project.
You will support the commercial management of subcontractor packages, valuations, variations, procurement and cost reporting while working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and the wider project team.
The position would suit a Junior QS looking to gain hands on European data centre experience with a specialist contractor while developing towards a more independent commercial role.

About You
You will ideally be a Junior Quantity Surveyor with some practical construction experience who wants to develop within the data centre and specialist fit out sector.
You should be commercially aware, comfortable working with figures and able to communicate effectively with subcontractors, site management and the wider commercial team. A willingness to work in Denmark and develop your career on European projects is essential.

- Must have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Some Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor is required
- Must be willing to work in Denmark on a European data centre project
- Good understanding of construction costs, measurements and commercial processes required
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience on data centre, fit out or large scale construction projects preferred
- Exposure to subcontractor procurement and valuations beneficial
- Strong Excel and general commercial reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and package management
- Support the preparation of valuations, variations and commercial reports
- Monitor project costs against budgets and assist with cost forecasting
- Review subcontractor applications and maintain accurate commercial records
- Work closely with the site and commercial teams to track progress and identify variations
- Assist senior commercial staff with final accounts and project cost control
