The Role: Junior Quantity Surveyor
This Junior Quantity Surveyor role is based from the company’s head office in Athlone, working closely with senior commercial staff across live and upcoming building projects.
You will support cost control, procurement, valuations, subcontractor accounts and commercial reporting while gaining hands on experience across the full project lifecycle.

You are a Junior Quantity Surveyor who is organised, commercially aware and keen to learn from experienced QS professionals.
You will have good attention to detail, strong numerical ability and a practical understanding of how construction projects are delivered on site.

- Placement or graduate experience with a main contractor preferred
- Good understanding of measurements, procurement and subcontractor accounts beneficial
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- Assist with cost planning, tendering and procurement
- Support subcontractor comparisons, appointments and payments
- Help prepare interim valuations and commercial reports
- Track project costs, variations and financial records
- Liaise with site teams, suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate commercial documentation
- Support senior Quantity Surveyors with final accounts
