Job title: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Fit Out

The Company
This specialist fit out contractor delivers data centre fit out projects across Ireland and Europe, with a growing pipeline of work within the mission critical sector.
They are currently delivering a major data centre fit out project in Austria and are looking to add an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to the commercial team.
The Role: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will join the commercial team on a data centre fit out project in Austria.
Working alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, you will assist with subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts throughout the project.

About You
You will be an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with practical commercial experience on construction or fit out projects.
You should have a good understanding of subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and cost control, along with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

- Must have 3+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Construction or fit out experience required
- Strong understanding of valuations, variations and subcontractor accounts
- Must be willing to work in Austria
Preferred Experience
- Data centre experience preferred
- Fit out experience beneficial
- European construction experience advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with subcontractor procurement and management
- Prepare valuations, variations and payment applications
- Monitor project costs and budgets
- Maintain commercial records and cost reports
- Assist with subcontractor and final accounts
- Work closely with the site and commercial teams
