Junior Mechanical Project Engineer Skills:
- Level 7/8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 years’ experience in a similar mechanical or M&E engineering environment desirable
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office packages
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good organisational and technical problem-solving abilities
- Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements
- Support senior engineers in developing alternative engineering solutions, including calculations and sketches
- Familiarise with Design/IFC specifications and drawings to understand project scope and compliance requirements
- Generate and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) for client submission
- Assist in reviewing coordinated construction drawings and preparing technical submittals for client approval
- Support the review of specialist supplier packages for compliance with specifications and design intent
- Prepare and monitor procurement schedules in coordination with the procurement team
- Support BCAR preliminary inspection plans and coordinate with the quality team as required
- Assist with onsite activities including automated setting out machine setup and quality control inspections
- Contribute to technical problem-solving and smooth project delivery under supervision of senior engineers
