Based in Co Dublin, the company continues to grow and is now looking to appoint an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of building services projects. The Role: Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer
As an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to tender and construction.
Working closely with senior engineers and the wider design team, you will prepare electrical designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and tender documentation while coordinating with architects, clients, contractors, and fellow consultants. The role offers excellent technical exposure across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and industrial developments.
Must Have Requirements
You are an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer with consultancy experience and a passion for delivering quality electrical building services design. You enjoy working collaboratively, have strong technical and communication skills, and take pride in producing accurate engineering designs.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a Level 8 qualification in Electrical Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or be in the final stages of completing the qualification.
- Proven electrical building services design experience is required, with a consultancy background preferred and a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills are essential.
- Experience using electrical design and calculation software is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, healthcare, education, or industrial projects.
- Experience preparing tender documentation and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and current building services standards.
- Experience attending client, design team, and site meetings.
- Membership of, or working towards membership of, Engineers Ireland.
- Full driving licence.
- Prepare electrical building services designs for a wide range of projects.
- Produce design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Develop AutoCAD and Revit models and coordinate with the wider design team.
- Assist in preparing tender documentation and technical submissions.
- Attend client, design team, and site meetings as required.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and external consultants.
- Support projects through concept design, tender, construction, and project completion.
- Deliver work to programme while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
