Package: £55,000 to £60,000 package

Based from their Omagh head office in Co Tyrone, they have a steady pipeline of work and regular project activity across Dublin, Cork and wider Ireland. The company is known for practical site management, strong safety standards and a hands on approach to delivery.
The Role: Health and Safety Advisor
This is a key Health and Safety Advisor role based from the Omagh head office, with regular site visits to live civil engineering projects in Dublin, Cork and other regional locations.
You will support site teams in maintaining high standards of health and safety across civil works, groundworks, utilities, roads and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk and keep projects moving safely.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have experience as a Health and Safety Advisor within construction or civil engineering
• Proven experience required carrying out site audits, inspections and safety reporting
• Must be comfortable travelling regularly from Omagh to project sites in Dublin and Cork
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification required
Preferred Experience:
• Civil engineering or groundworks experience preferred
• Experience with a main contractor beneficial
• Strong knowledge of Irish and UK health and safety legislation
• Full driving licence preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits across live civil engineering projects
• Support site teams with RAMS, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Monitor compliance with company procedures, legal requirements and project safety plans
• Report on safety performance, incidents, near misses and corrective actions
• Work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to improve safe systems of work
• Promote a practical safety culture across head office and site teams
• Ensure records, training logs and safety documentation are kept up to date
• Travel regularly to projects in Dublin, Cork and other active site locations
About You
You are a Health and Safety Advisor with a practical understanding of construction sites and civil engineering works. You will be comfortable working between the Omagh head office and live projects, supporting site teams without slowing down programme delivery.
You will be organised, confident on site and able to communicate clearly with operatives, subcontractors, engineers and senior management.
