The Company
This well-established Irish residential developer has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality housing developments across Dublin and the surrounding counties. Their projects include large-scale housing schemes, apartment developments and mixed-use communities, with a consistent focus on quality workmanship and programme delivery.
With a healthy pipeline of residential projects in South Dublin, they are looking to appoint an experienced Foreman to strengthen the site management team on a busy live development.
The Role: Foreman
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. This Foreman position will involve coordinating subcontractors, managing direct labour and maintaining programme targets on a large residential development in South Dublin.
You will play an important role in ensuring construction activities run smoothly while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality control and site organisation.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 5+ years' experience as a Foreman on residential construction projects.
• Proven experience working with an Irish main contractor or residential developer is required.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management procedures.
• Excellent experience coordinating subcontractors and driving programme delivery.
Preferred Experience:
• Timber frame or traditional housing construction experience.
• Experience delivering multi-unit residential developments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Competent using digital site reporting systems.
Nice to Have:
• Trade background.
• SSWP, Safe Pass and First Aid certification.
• Relevant supervisory or construction management qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Maintain high standards of quality across all stages of construction.
• Monitor productivity and address any site issues promptly.
• Assist with short-term programming and daily planning.
• Carry out regular site inspections and maintain site records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and workforce requirements.
• Work closely with the Site Manager, engineers and commercial team.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across the site.
About You
You are an experienced Foreman with a solid background delivering residential construction projects in Ireland. You are confident leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining quality standards while keeping projects on programme.
You are organised, proactive and capable of managing a busy live site while maintaining excellent communication with the wider project team.
