The Company
This is a strong opportunity to join a well regarded Irish main contractor delivering a high quality pharmaceutical project in Athlone. The company has a solid reputation across complex commercial, industrial and life sciences construction, with a strong focus on programme, safety and finish quality.
They are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong background in internal architectural finishes, cleanroom style environments, fit out coordination and high specification handover standards.
The Role - Finishing Foreman
As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for driving internal finishing works on a busy pharma project in Athlone. You will work closely with the site team, subcontractors and management to ensure all architectural finishes are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standard.
This role is suited to a hands on finishing professional who understands the level of detail required on pharmaceutical construction projects, particularly around internal finishes, snagging, quality control and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage internal architectural finishes across the project
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour
• Drive daily and weekly finishing programmes
• Ensure all works are completed to specification and quality standards
• Manage snagging, defects and close out works
• Maintain strong health and safety standards on site
• Liaise with site management, engineers and project teams
• Monitor progress and report any delays or quality issues
• Support clean, organised and efficient handover of finished areas
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising finish quality
About You:
• Experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, Site Foreman or Internal Finishes Foreman
• Strong background in pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial or high spec fit out projects
• Excellent knowledge of internal architectural finishes
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and trades
• Strong eye for detail with a quality focused approach
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to work to tight programmes and deadlines
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Trade background or construction management experience preferred
