The Company This is an opportunity to join a leading international main contractor delivering high profile commercial and residential developments across Ireland and Europe. With a strong reputation for quality construction and technical delivery, the company specialises in complex projects where building services and MEP coordination are critical to successful completion.
Their Dublin projects include large scale residential developments, commercial buildings and technically demanding construction schemes. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are continuing to grow their building services leadership team.
The Role – Electrical Project Manager The Electrical Project Manager will lead the delivery of electrical and building services packages across major Dublin based construction projects. You will take responsibility for the full MEP project lifecycle, from pre construction planning and design coordination through to installation, commissioning and final project handover.
Working closely with the main contractor delivery team, consultants and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure that electrical and building services installations are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities • Managing the full lifecycle of electrical and MEP services delivery from pre construction through to testing and commissioning
• Coordinating building services design information with consultants and project teams to support construction programmes
• Ensuring electrical and MEP deliverables are implemented in line with project specifications and programme requirements
• Overseeing electrical installation works and ensuring compliance with approved quality plans
• Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across all building services activities
• Monitoring project programmes and tracking installation progress across MEP packages
• Working closely with subcontractors to ensure coordination and timely delivery of electrical systems
• Collaborating with the wider construction team to resolve technical and coordination issues
• Supporting project delivery through accurate reporting and effective communication with stakeholders
About You • Third level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline, or a recognised electrical trade background
• Minimum 7 years experience in building services coordination or electrical project management
• Experience working with main contractors on commercial, residential or mixed use construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services systems and MEP coordination
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with construction project management systems
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme targets
• Detail focused with a strong commitment to safety and quality
