Job title: Electrical Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager – Electrical Projects

This established electrical contractor has over 20 years’ experience delivering projects across Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area.
The company works across commercial fit out, offices, residential developments, warehouses and other electrical installations, with a strong pipeline of Dublin-based projects.
The Role: Electrical Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager
You will help manage electrical projects from commencement through to completion, working closely with company management, experienced site supervisors, clients, consultants and suppliers.
This is not a site supervisor position. Your focus will be on the wider project delivery, including drawings, procurement, technical queries, variations and programme coordination, ensuring the site teams have the information and materials required to keep works moving.
The position would particularly suit an Electrical Project Engineer ready to step into a Junior Project Manager role and take greater ownership of project delivery.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a strong electrical construction background and enough project experience to take ownership of coordination without requiring significant training.
You should be organised, commercially aware and confident dealing with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams while keeping projects moving to programme.

Must Have Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, Junior Project Manager, Electrical Engineer or similar within an electrical or M&E contractor.
- Strong electrical construction knowledge with the ability to read and mark up electrical drawings.
- Hands on experience using AutoCAD and Bluebeam is required.
- Experience coordinating procurement, technical queries and electrical project delivery.
- Procore or similar construction management software beneficial.
- Commercial, office fit out, residential or similar electrical project experience preferred.
- Experience managing variations and additional works advantageous.
- Manage and coordinate electrical projects from commencement through to handover.
- Attend client, consultant, coordination and progress meetings.
- Work closely with supervisors and foremen to maintain programme delivery.
- Review and mark up electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, drawing changes and design modifications.
- Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and equipment, including long lead items.
- Identify, record and assist with pricing variations and additional works.
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and specialist contractors where required.
- Monitor programme, procurement and overall project progress.
- Support testing, snagging, close out and final handover.
You will have a strong electrical construction background and enough project experience to take ownership of coordination without requiring significant training.
