You are an experienced Electrical Lead with a strong track record delivering large-scale electrical packages on major construction projects, looking to join a leading specialist contractor delivering major data centre developments across Europe.
This is an on-site position based in Helsinki, Finland, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the electrical delivery across a technically complex build. Electrical Lead Skills:
- 10 years’ experience delivering large-scale Electrical projects (commercial / pharma / industrial / data centre preferred)
- Proven experience leading Electrical installation and site delivery teams
- Strong ability to drive productivity through structured daily and weekly work planning
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation standards, and construction sequencing
- Experience coordinating design inputs with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Strong reporting ability including progress updates, labour lookaheads, and procurement forecasting
- Proven ability to manage programme, resources, and site teams in a fast-paced environment
- Engineering qualification is preferred
- Data centre experience is highly desirable
- Take a lead role in driving productivity through effective weekly and daily work plans
- Coordinate electrical design and technical activities with internal teams and subcontractors
- Supervise ongoing works ensuring programme and quality targets are achieved
- Maintain high standards of Quality and Safety across the electrical scope
- Monitor labour tracking sheets and manage resource allocation
- Oversee and coordinate full Electrical installation across the project
- Liaise directly with key stakeholders including client teams to ensure alignment and delivery certainty
- Lead and mentor supervisors, foremen, and electrical delivery teams
- Work proactively with foremen to ensure materials, information, equipment, and resources are in place
- Coordinate works with other subcontractors in shared areas to ensure safe and efficient progress
- Review and sign off on project documentation and weekly foremen reports
- Chair and lead weekly coordination meetings with stakeholders including Safety, QA, BIM and supervision teams
- Ensure actions are logged, assigned, and closed out ahead of weekly meetings
- Produce detailed weekly reports including:
- Incident / Accident reporting
- Programme updates (Planned vs Actual)
- 4–6 week labour lookahead
- Industrial relations issues (where applicable)
- 2–4 week procurement forecast including long lead items
- Weekly variation tracking issued to the Quantity Surveyor
- Early notification of delays, risks, or disruptions to planned activities
- Incident / Accident reporting
