The Role – Electrical Estimator
This Electrical Estimator role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, technically challenging projects across data centre, pharma and healthcare sectors. Based in Trim with some project interaction, you will take ownership of the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to final submission and project handover.
You will play a key role in securing major projects, working closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, competitive and commercially sound estimates that directly impact business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €80,000 – €90,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Tendering on large-scale electrical projects across data centre, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors
- Managing the full tendering lifecycle from enquiry through to submission and handover
- Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications
- Reviewing tender documentation and identifying risks, gaps and opportunities
- Developing value engineering options to enhance competitiveness
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Attending pre and post tender meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project teams through handover on successful tenders
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an electrical estimating or contracting environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Experience with take-offs, cost planning and tender preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience in instrumentation or BMS is advantageous but not essential
