We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong HV system knowledge to support the delivery and commissioning of a large-scale pharmaceutical facility in Co Limerick. 
 
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of electrical systems delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and performance at every stage.
 
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of High Voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
 
Your new company are an established engineering services provider delivering tailored solutions across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, semiconductor, medical device, data centre, and automotive industries. Their work focuses on project management, commissioning, and operations support, ensuring every client receives reliable, innovative, and high-quality results.

Electrical Engineer Skills:
- Degree or diploma (minimum Level 7) in Electrical Engineering.
 - Hands-on experience with HV/MV systems – from installation and assembly to commissioning and maintenance.
 - At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial or regulated environment (pharma, semi-conductor, data centre, or similar).
 - Strong knowledge of ATEX, DC systems, and grid maintenance standards.
 - Proven troubleshooting ability with electrical control systems.
 - Solid IT and documentation skills.
 
As an Electrical Engineer:
- Supervising installation and commissioning works on HV systems, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
 - Managing and validating HV testing and inspection activities.
 - Supporting preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and optimising system reliability.
 - Developing and implementing HV switching plans for the electrical team.
 - Collaborating closely with project teams to deliver technically sound and high-quality engineering outcomes.
 - Driving continuous improvement, promoting best practices in safety, efficiency, and performance.
