Job title: Electrical Engineer – Data Centre Construction

This specialist engineering contractor is Europe's leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, delivering turnkey solutions from design and construction through to commissioning on some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments.
With a strong pipeline of projects across the continent, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Vaasa, Finland.
The Role: Electrical Engineer
Reporting to the Electrical Construction Manager, you will support the coordination and delivery of electrical systems across a large-scale hyperscale data centre project. Working closely with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on programme and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Must Have Requirements
You are an Electrical Engineer with experience delivering electrical packages on large construction projects. You enjoy working in a collaborative project environment, solving technical challenges and ensuring electrical installations are completed safely and to the highest standards.
Experience on data centre or other mission-critical developments would be advantageous, although candidates with commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical project backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer within the construction sector.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of electrical building services and construction methodologies.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors on live construction projects.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical project experience.
- Experience reviewing technical drawings and managing RFIs.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and commissioning documentation.
- Experience preparing handover and test packs.
- Support the coordination and delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and manage project drawings and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to subcontractors and site teams.
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety and programme requirements.
- Coordinate technical queries and support engineering problem solving.
- Maintain accurate document control and project records.
- Prepare testing, commissioning and handover documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.
