This European data centre contractor is one of the industry's leading turnkey delivery specialists, providing complete design, construction and commissioning services across some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments.
With a substantial pipeline of projects across Europe, the business continues to expand and is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a flagship data centre project in Milan, Italy.
The Role: Electrical Construction Manager
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical construction package on a major hyperscale data centre project.
Working closely with the Project Director, Engineering teams, subcontractors, client representatives and commissioning teams, you will lead all electrical construction activities from planning through installation, testing and final handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
This is a senior site leadership role offering genuine responsibility on one of Europe's largest mission-critical developments.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a proven track record delivering large-scale electrical packages on technically complex construction projects.
You combine strong leadership with excellent technical knowledge and thrive in fast-paced environments where planning, coordination and quality are critical to project success.
You enjoy leading teams, building relationships with clients and subcontractors, and delivering major projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Electrical Construction Management with an M&E contractor.
- Proven experience managing large electrical site teams on major construction projects.
- Strong background delivering electrical installations on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience delivering large-scale data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction sequencing and programme management.
- Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and resource planning.
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting project budgets and variation management.
- Experience coordinating electrical works through commissioning and client handover.
- Previous experience working on European construction projects.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and commissioning processes.
- Experience working within fast-track construction environments.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Lead the delivery of all electrical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed construction programmes, resource plans and installation strategies.
- Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment and materials to meet project requirements.
- Manage electrical subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor programme performance and implement recovery plans where required.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality across all electrical installations.
- Support commercial performance by monitoring costs, progress and variations.
- Identify technical and construction risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Mechanical, Civil and Commissioning teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Chair site coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
- Ensure all project documentation, inspections and quality records are maintained.
- Support testing, commissioning and final project handover.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, project procedures and client requirements.
