Package: €105,000 salary + €250 net per week allowance (approx. €130,000 gross equivalent) + 17/4 rotation + solo accommodation + return flights
The Company
This specialist European main contractor delivers large scale data centre and mission critical projects across the Nordic region and mainland Europe.
With a strong pipeline of major data centre developments, they are looking for an experienced EHS Lead to join the project team in Kirkkonummi, Finland. This is a senior site based position with responsibility for driving health, safety and environmental standards across a large scale data centre construction project.
The Role: EHS Lead
As EHS Lead, you will take responsibility for the implementation and management of the project Environmental, Health and Safety systems, working closely with senior project management, construction teams, subcontractors and the client.
You will lead the EHS function on site, manage the wider safety team where required and ensure works are delivered in line with project EHS plans, legislation and the Integrated Management System.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced EHS Lead, EHS Manager or senior Health & Safety professional with a strong background on large scale construction projects.
You should have experience leading EHS teams, managing subcontractor compliance and implementing structured safety systems within a demanding construction environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work closely with project management, site teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
What’s on Offer
Salary: €105,000 DOE
This is a senior EHS position on a major data centre development in Finland, giving you responsibility for driving safety standards across a large and technically demanding construction project.
You will lead the site EHS function, work closely with senior project management and the client, and play a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture throughout project delivery.
The €250 net weekly allowance, 17/4 rotation, solo accommodation and return flights provide a strong overseas package, backed by a long term pipeline of European data centre projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have significant EHS experience on large scale construction projects
- Relevant Environmental, Health & Safety qualification or NEBOSH required
- Proven experience managing an EHS team and delivering project safety requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of current EHS legislation, risk management and construction safety practices
- Data centre or mission critical construction experience preferred
- Autodesk BIM 360 Field experience beneficial
- Experience implementing Integrated Management Systems on major construction projects
- European construction experience beneficial
- Lead the implementation of project specific Environmental, Health and Safety plans
- Manage and support the wider EHS team across the project
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
- Coordinate and review method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action and permit to work systems
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits and ensure corrective actions are closed out
- Drive a strong safety culture across construction teams and subcontractors
- Lead safety information sessions and promote awareness across all levels of the project
- Manage REACH assessments and the control of hazardous substances
- Monitor safety interventions and ensure accurate reporting and documentation
- Work closely with the client and respond promptly to EHS observations
- Report EHS performance, risks and required actions to senior project management
