We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to play a key role across a range of high-profile construction and engineering projects in Dublin. This position offers the opportunity to support major builds while driving a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance across fast-paced, active project environments.

The role provides long-term stability on a growing pipeline of work, with responsibility for implementing EHS policies, conducting site audits, supporting construction teams, and ensuring the highest levels of safety performance across all work fronts.

EHS Advisor Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction safety legislation, industry regulations, and best practice.
  • Experience delivering toolbox talks, inductions, method statement reviews, and safety briefings.
  • Proven ability to conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ability to influence, advise, and guide site teams on safe systems of work.
  • Experience working on large construction, mechanical, or industrial projects.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • NEBOSH, QQI, or equivalent health & safety qualification preferred.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple work fronts.
As an EHS Advisor:
  • Lead day-to-day safety oversight across active project sites, ensuring full compliance with all EHS requirements.
  • Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and documentation reviews, reporting findings and corrective actions.
  • Support the development of RAMS, permits, lift plans, and high-risk activity procedures.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, safety briefings, and ongoing training to site teams.
  • Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and trades teams to promote safe planning and execution of works.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reinforce a positive safety culture across all projects.
  • Provide guidance on environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability where required.
The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect €70,000 plus package including vehicle/allowance, pension, and additional benefits depending on experience.
