Overview:
Excellent opportunity for a CSA Engineer to join one of Europe’s leading data centre contractors on a Large Scale Data Centre project in Portugal.
You’ll be joining an engineering led contractor specialising in the delivery of technically complex data centre projects across Europe, with involvement from design and construction right through to commissioning and final handover.
This is a large scale, multi-phase development incorporating significant CSA packages and will give you exposure to the delivery of some of the most technically advanced mission-critical infrastructure currently being constructed in Europe.
As CSA Engineer, you’ll work closely with the construction, design and quality teams, taking responsibility for monitoring works on site, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, tracking progress and ensuring CSA packages are delivered to the required quality.
There is a particularly strong emphasis on QA/QC, inspections, snagging and handover, giving you the opportunity to develop experience across the full lifecycle of a major data centre project rather than focusing solely on setting out.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect CSA works, ensuring construction is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality team to ensure completed works meet the required benchmarks and that inspection records.
- Coordinate subcontractors on site, monitoring progress against programme and identifying issues that could impact construction or handover.
- Review drawings and specifications alongside the design and construction teams, assisting with the resolution of technical and buildability issues.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in a site based engineering role in Ireland or Portugal.
- Strong understanding of CSA construction packages and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspections, snagging and handover processes.
