The Role: Contracts Manager
As Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a live hotel construction project in Dublin 8 while supporting the wider operational team across project planning, programme management, commercial performance, and client relations.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee site management teams, ensure programme milestones are achieved, manage project risks, and maintain the highest standards of quality and health and safety throughout the construction process.
This Contracts Manager role offers a key leadership position on a significant hospitality development in Dublin 8, Co Dublin, with responsibility for driving successful project delivery from construction through to handover.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 10 years' experience in construction project delivery with a main contractor
• Proven experience required in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager role
• Experience with large-scale commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, or residential construction projects is required
• Strong knowledge of programme management, subcontractor coordination, and project delivery
• Experience working within the Irish construction market is required
Preferred Experience:
• Hotel or hospitality project experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Experience managing multiple project stakeholders and design teams
• Proficiency with modern construction management systems beneficial
Nice to Have:
• Construction-related degree qualification
• Chartered status or professional membership
• Additional health and safety qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the successful delivery of a live hotel construction project in Dublin 8
• Manage Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractor teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
• Monitor project performance against programme milestones and commercial targets
• Drive quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications and building regulations
• Chair progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the construction lifecycle
• Support procurement, resource planning, and project reporting requirements
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure successful project outcomes
• Work closely with commercial teams to maximise project profitability

You are an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong track record delivering construction projects for main contractors in Ireland. You understand the challenges of programme delivery, subcontractor management, commercial performance, and maintaining quality standards on live projects.
