Job title: Commissioning Manager – 80MW Hyperscale Data Centre
Location: Norway

Package: €120,000 to €130,000 + 17/5 rotation, flights, accommodation and car hire
The Company
This specialist engineering and commissioning contractor supports major hyperscale data centre projects across Europe, with expertise across commissioning, project management and operations.
They are supporting the General Contractor with the commissioning scope on a new 80MW liquid cooled hyperscale data centre in Norway, with an expected project duration of 18 to 24 months.
The Role: Commissioning Manager
This Commissioning Manager role is based in Norway on a major 80MW liquid cooled hyperscale data centre.
Working Monday to Friday on a 48 hour week, you will work on a 17/5 rotation with the opportunity to return home for a long weekend once per month.
You will take overall responsibility for commissioning delivery across mechanical, electrical, controls and integrated systems, managing the process from design review and commissioning strategy through testing, IST and final client handover.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Commissioning Manager with a strong track record delivering hyperscale or mission critical data centre projects.
You will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and be comfortable leading multidisciplinary commissioning teams through FAT, SAT, functional testing and IST. You will also need the client facing experience to manage design reviews, technical workshops and commissioning handover.
Experience with liquid cooling systems would be particularly beneficial given the scale and cooling strategy of this 80MW data centre.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years’ commissioning experience within mission critical or hyperscale data centre environments
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large scale data centre projects is required
- Strong mechanical and electrical commissioning experience is essential
- Proven experience developing commissioning procedures, test scripts and IST programmes
- Experience working with a General Contractor, EPC contractor or major commissioning provider is required
- Direct Liquid Cooling commissioning experience highly beneficial
- Experience with CDUs, chilled water, HVAC and heat rejection systems
- Knowledge of UPS, generators, MV/HV systems and critical power infrastructure
- Experience with BMS, EPMS, SCADA and integrated controls systems
- Develop and manage the overall commissioning strategy, programme and execution plan
- Lead commissioning across mechanical, electrical, controls and integrated systems
- Manage FAT, SAT, functional performance testing and Integrated Systems Testing
- Coordinate commissioning teams, specialist vendors and subcontractors
- Lead design reviews and technical workshops with the client, consultants and project team
- Manage commissioning documentation, turnover packages and final client handover
