The Company

Our client is Ireland’s leading civils and utilities contractor, delivering essential infrastructure projects across both urban and rural environments. With over four decades of continuous growth, they’re trusted to deliver high-profile utility and enabling works nationwide, supported by strong internal systems, modern plant, and a safety-first culture.

They’re known for developing their people, backing supervisors on site, and providing long-term stability through repeat framework work and a strong order book.

Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Civils Foreman to join their delivery team.

The Role – Civils Foreman

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, motivated supervisor to lead site crews across utility and infrastructure projects. You’ll ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme, while supporting a positive, high-performing site culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, supervising civil crews and subcontractors.

  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

  • Coordinate activities with Project Managers, Engineers and clients.

  • Resolve site issues quickly and maintain smooth production flow.

  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings in line with HSEQ standards.

  • Maintain site records, daily reports, and track plant/material requirements.

  • Support productivity, quality, and workmanship targets across all works.

About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a civils supervisory role within utilities or infrastructure.

  • Strong understanding of excavation, ducting, reinstatement, and general civils works.

  • Ability to read drawings and coordinate directly with engineering teams.

  • Proven ability to lead site crews and manage activities independently.

  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and programme delivery.

  • Full clean driving licence essential.

What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary tailored to your experience.

  • Package to include vehicle/allowance, pension, and benefits.

  • Stable long-term work through frameworks and repeat business.

  • Strong support structure from project management, engineering, and HSEQ teams.

  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing national contractor.

Why Apply?

This is a great chance to join a contractor at the forefront of civils and utilities delivery in Ireland. You’ll work on meaningful infrastructure projects, lead strong on-site crews, and build your career in a company that genuinely supports development and progression.
