Job title: Civils Foreman – Battery Storage Project
Location: North Germany, Germany
Company: Irish Engineering Contractor delivering energy and infrastructure projects across Europe
Package: €80,000 to €85,000 salary + €140 net per week living away allowance, increasing after 90 days, return flights & accommodation

An Irish engineering contractor delivering major energy, infrastructure and specialist construction projects across Ireland and Europe.
The company has a strong pipeline of work in Germany and is currently delivering a multi-million euro battery energy storage project in North Germany, with long-term opportunities available across its European operations.
The Role: Civils Foreman
As Civils Foreman, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of civil works on this battery storage project in North Germany.
Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you’ll coordinate site crews and subcontractors, drive the programme and ensure civil works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You’ll be an experienced Civils Foreman with a practical, hands-on approach to managing site works. You’ll be confident coordinating subcontractors and civil crews while keeping a close eye on safety, quality and programme.
Experience within energy infrastructure, utilities, substations or battery energy storage projects would be particularly relevant.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous experience as a Civils Foreman, General Foreman or Civil Supervisor
- Proven experience required managing civil works and subcontractors on construction or infrastructure projects
- Must be comfortable working on rotation in Germany
- Strong knowledge of site safety, quality control and programme delivery
Preferred Experience
- Energy, utilities, substations or battery storage project experience preferred
- Experience working on large-scale civil engineering projects beneficial
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil works and site activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials
- Drive works in line with the construction programme
- Monitor quality and ensure works comply with drawings and specifications
- Maintain high health and safety standards across the site
- Coordinate with engineering and project management teams
- Track progress and flag potential programme issues
- Assist with site records, inspections and project reporting
About You
