We are seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Technician to join a growing design team at the Head Office in Galway.
You will work on a variety of utility and infrastructure projects, producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and BIM models for wastewater treatment, pumping stations, pipe networks, and electrical infrastructure.

CAD/BIM Technician Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for BIM modelling, AutoCAD 3D, and preferably Civil 3D
- Experience using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination
- Knowledge of engineering principles and utility/infrastructure systems
- Highly organised with experience managing drawing archives, revisions, and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team
- Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a design consultancy or similar environment
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models from preliminary sketches, concepts, and calculations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and other team members to integrate designs and perform clash detection
- Ensure all drawings and models comply with relevant standards, BIM protocols (ISO 19650 / BS 1192), and internal QA procedures
- Maintain an organised library of design files, manage drawing archives, handle revisions and version control
- Generate documentation such as Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs
- Support design teams in delivering accurate, coordinated, and high-quality outputs within project deadlines
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design or modelling issues as they arise
