Location: Cork
Leading Irish Main Contractor delivering high-spec projects across Munster
Salary €60,000 – €75,000 vehicle, bonus, pension, healthcare

The Role – Building Services Engineer
As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems across major construction projects in Cork. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors, you will ensure all M&E services are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration of building services with the overall construction programme, maintaining quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all mechanical and electrical services on site from design through to commissioning
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Monitor progress against the project programme and resolve any service-related delays
- Manage M&E subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to specifications
- Review drawings, technical submittals, and method statements
- Carry out quality inspections and oversee testing and commissioning of systems
- Liaise with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation
- Degree-qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3 years’ experience in a Building Services Engineer role within construction
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems in commercial or residential projects
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and work within tight project deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance
- Effective communicator with a proactive approach to site challenges
Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 (DOE)
