The Role Building Services Coordinator
As a Building Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating all MEP services across a major construction project in Dublin. You will be involved from pre construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the design team, subcontractors and site management, you will drive coordination, resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of all building services elements.

Salary: €80,000 to €85,000 DOE

The Role Building Services Coordinator

Working closely with the design team, subcontractors and site management, you will drive coordination, resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of all building services elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee coordination of mechanical and electrical services throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage design information and technical submittals in line with programme requirements
- Liaise with design teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure smooth information flow
- Monitor MEP installations on site ensuring compliance with specifications and approved drawings
- Chair coordination meetings with MEP contractors and drive progress on key deliverables
- Track design changes and resolve discrepancies between drawings and specifications
- Provide regular progress updates and reporting to the project team
- Ensure all MEP works are delivered in line with health and safety standards
- Support testing, commissioning and system handover to the client
- Assist with BCAR documentation and safety file compilation
- Degree or relevant qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years experience in a Building Services Coordinator or MEP Coordinator role
- Strong understanding of MEP systems within construction projects
- Experience working with main contractors or large subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BIM models
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail focused with a commitment to quality and programme delivery
Salary: €80,000 to €85,000 DOE
