The Role, BIM Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical BIM models to support accurate and efficient project delivery
- Manage 3D building services models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and associated BIM software
- Carry out clash detection and model reviews, issuing clear reports and driving resolution with the project team
- Produce coordinated installation drawings, construction drawings, fabrication information, and as built model data
- Support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans and internal BIM processes across multiple live projects
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and site teams to improve coordination, buildability, and programme certainty
- Maintain model accuracy, data quality, and compliance with project BIM requirements and ISO 19650 standards
- Provide technical BIM support to delivery teams and assist with the rollout of best practice digital engineering procedures
- Contribute to the ongoing development of BIM standards, workflows, templates, and coordination processes within the business
- Help improve communication between office based design coordination and site based construction delivery teams
- Degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in a BIM Coordinator role within M&E contracting, building services, or a design led environment
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD
- Experience with Plant 3D would be a strong advantage
- Familiarity with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or another common data environment platform
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, construction sequencing, and technical coordination
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
- Organised, detail focused, and comfortable managing several deadlines across multiple projects
- Positive attitude, team focused approach, and a genuine interest in digital construction and BIM delivery
- Committed to quality, accuracy, and supporting successful project outcomes
