Their latest project is a €25 million education development in North Dublin involving the demolition of existing buildings, removal of temporary accommodation and the construction of a modern replacement school building with associated facilities. The Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team on this significant education project in North Dublin, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor across all stages of project delivery.
You will gain valuable experience in procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, cost reporting and contract administration while helping to ensure the project is delivered on budget and in line with programme.

The Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team on this significant education project in North Dublin, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor across all stages of project delivery.
You will gain valuable experience in procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, cost reporting and contract administration while helping to ensure the project is delivered on budget and in line with programme.
Must Have Requirements:
- Must have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- 1 to 3 years' experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Graduate Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or developer
- Experience working on Irish construction projects is required
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent numerical skills
- Full working rights in Ireland
Preferred Experience:
- Education, commercial or public sector project experience
- Knowledge of JCT, PW-CF or other standard construction contracts
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and commercial management software
Nice to Have:
- Membership or progression towards SCSI
- Experience assisting with final accounts
- Full driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost planning, budgeting and commercial reporting
- Support subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and package management
- Prepare interim valuations and assist with final accounts
- Monitor project costs, variations and commercial risks
- Assist with contract administration and financial reporting
- Liaise with site management, design teams and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate commercial records throughout the project
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the successful commercial delivery of the project
