Site Project Manager – Wastewater Infrastructure

We are hiring a Site Project Manager to oversee upgrade works across several wastewater treatment facilities in the Monaghan and Longford regions.

This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary site teams, managing programme delivery, and ensuring all mechanical, electrical and process installations are delivered safely, efficiently and to project requirements.

You will guide works from early-stage planning through commissioning and handover, supporting a long-term framework of improvement projects running to 2030.

Site Project Manager Skills:

• Experience delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable coordinating mechanical, electrical and process upgrade works
• Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory obligations
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Skilled in planning, scheduling, reporting and issue resolution
• Competent with MS Office and project-planning software
• Full EU/Irish driving licence

As a Site Project Manager:

• Take responsibility for on-site delivery of wastewater upgrade works
• Lead engineers, safety teams, trades and specialist subcontractors
• Represent the project at client and consultant meetings and issue progress updates
• Prepare construction schedules, monitor activity and update programme forecasts
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and specialist services
• Oversee cost reviews and report financial updates to senior management
• Maintain site documentation including RAMS, inspections, records and daily reports
• Plan and coordinate commissioning, testing and final handover
• Engage closely with client-side RE/ER representatives to maintain strong communication
• Ensure environmental controls and ecological requirements are followed throughout delivery.

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of €70,000–€85,000 plus package, depending on experience.
