This contractor specialises in complex, multi-phase developments involving high-density housing, large basement structures, and technically challenging builds with significant coordination across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
The Role – Site Manager
This is a key Site Manager position on a major multi-block residential development in Dublin 3, incorporating over 800 units alongside healthcare facilities and refurbishment works. You will take ownership of daily site operations, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met across a fast-paced, multi-phase project.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and senior site team to drive delivery across structural, façade, and finishing packages, ensuring works are coordinated efficiently across a large and active site.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and enforce the highest standards of health and safety across all site activities
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors across structural, façade, and finishing phases
• Drive programme delivery, ensuring key milestones are achieved on time
• Oversee quality control across precast concrete, façade systems, and internal finishes
• Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
• Monitor site progress and provide regular reporting to senior management
• Coordinate logistics and sequencing across multiple blocks and work zones
• Liaise with design teams, engineers, and client representatives
• Manage snagging, inspections, and handover processes
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential or mixed-use developments
• Strong background working with main contractors on high-density housing projects
• Experience managing multi-block or phased developments is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of concrete frame construction and façade packages
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills across multiple trades
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive site teams
• Focused on quality, safety, and programme delivery
• Effective communicator with a proactive and solutions-driven approach
