The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day delivery of a public realm civil engineering project in Dublin. This role will see you managing site operations in a live urban environment, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all aspects of the project while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site activities across civil and public realm works
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and labour on site
• Monitor project programme and drive progress to meet key milestones
• Oversee quality control and ensure all works meet specification standards
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders in a live environment
• Identify and resolve any issues that may impact programme or quality
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering or public realm projects
• Strong background in roads, utilities, streetscape, or urban infrastructure works
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Driven, detail-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality projects
• Able to work in a fast-paced, live city environment
