A well-established residential developer with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality housing schemes across Leinster is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major residential development in Co Meath.
With a strong pipeline of projects and a long-term investment in the Irish housing market, the company is recognised for delivering well-planned communities, maintaining high construction standards, and providing genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive management structure.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a large residential construction project in Co. Meath, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors, and the wider site team, you will coordinate all site activities, manage programme delivery, oversee quality inspections, and ensure compliance with current Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
This role would suit an experienced Site Manager with a strong background delivering housing developments for a main contractor or residential developer in Ireland.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential developments in Ireland.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour on live construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and Health & Safety legislation.
- Trade background or degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working for a main contractor or residential developer is essential.
Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering multi-phase housing developments.
- Good understanding of quality management systems and inspection processes.
- Strong programme management and planning skills.
- Experience using construction management software and digital reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day site operations to ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers across multiple work fronts.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the project.
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are implemented and consistently monitored.
- Plan material deliveries and site logistics to support programme delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme and report regularly to senior management.
- Carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Manage labour resources efficiently while maintaining productivity.
- Liaise with design teams, consultants, utility providers, and local stakeholders where required.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and quality documentation.
