The Role: Site Manager
Based in Limerick City, Co Limerick, this Site Manager role will see you take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of a life sciences fit out project.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain programme delivery, and ensure all works meet the required quality and compliance standards expected within a cleanroom or controlled environment.
This is a hands-on Site Manager position requiring strong fit out experience and a proven ability to manage specialist trades within a live construction environment.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have previous experience as a Site Manager on construction or fit out projects
• Cleanroom, cold room, or white wall construction experience is essential
• Proven experience required delivering interior fit out projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and programme delivery on site
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements
Preferred Experience:
• Life sciences or pharmaceutical project experience
• Experience working within regulated environments
• Familiarity with digital site reporting systems
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
• Construction-related qualification
• First Aid, Safe Pass, or equivalent site certifications
• Experience delivering projects under tight programme constraints
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver projects in line with company health and safety procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works progress according to programme
• Review subcontractor RAMS, training records, and site documentation
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Maintain quality standards throughout the fit out process
• Monitor site productivity, progress, and resource allocation
• Implement environmental management requirements where applicable
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Manage daily site operations in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget
About You
You are an experienced Site Manager with a background in fit out, cleanroom, cold room, or controlled environment construction projects. You understand the importance of quality finishes, programme delivery, and strict compliance standards.
You have strong communication skills, can effectively manage subcontractors and site teams, and take pride in delivering projects safely and to a high standard. Your attention to detail and practical site management approach allow you to successfully manage challenging projects within the life sciences sector.
