Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career, moving beyond pure setting out into more of a site management focused role.
Working with one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractors, you’ll gain exposure to a large scale civils framework while developing your leadership and coordination skills on site.
Based in Co. Galway, this role offers long term stability with a very strong pipeline of work in the region, meaning you won’t be facing frequent relocations.
You’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers and senior teams, giving you the support and structure needed to progress your career into a more advanced position.

Responsibilities:
- Support the day to day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on site.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards across all aspects of the project.
- Oversee site documentation including QA records, method statements and maintain and promote a strong health & safety culture on site.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage staff on site.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
