The Role: Senior Site Manager
Based in Co Westmeath, this Senior Site Manager position will lead the delivery of a €20 million renovation and extension of a protected structure. The project combines specialist conservation works with a significant new build extension, requiring careful coordination between traditional building methods and modern construction techniques.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will have overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations, programme delivery, subcontractor management, quality control and health and safety while ensuring the project is completed to the highest standard.
Experience managing refurbishment, restoration, conservation or complex building projects will be highly regarded for this Senior Site Manager position.

- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager with an Irish main contractor.
- Experience delivering large building projects valued at €15 million or greater.
- Strong knowledge of programme management, subcontractor coordination and quality assurance.
- Excellent understanding of Irish construction regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Proven ability to successfully manage complex refurbishment, conservation or new build projects.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience working on protected structures, heritage, conservation or restoration projects.
- Background delivering public sector, education or commercial developments.
- Strong IT skills with experience using construction management software.
Nice to Have
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Safe Pass and SMSTS or equivalent site management qualifications.
- First Aid certification.

- Manage all site operations to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors throughout all phases of construction.
- Maintain programme targets while managing quality and project milestones.
- Oversee specialist conservation works alongside the construction of the new extension.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager, design consultants and client representatives.
- Monitor project progress, site resources and labour requirements.
- Ensure quality finishes are achieved while protecting the integrity of the existing structure.
- Prepare regular site reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
