As a Senior Project Electrical Engineer:
- Hold an Honours Degree (Chartered status is a bonus but not mandatory).
- Have 10 years of experience in a Senior Engineering role.
- Possess advanced knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
- Expert understanding of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN standards.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Effective communication skills to consult effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.
- Skilled in the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems across various sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Senior Project Electrical Engineer Skills:
- Lead the design and delivery of Electrical Services for a variety of projects.
- Develop and specify electrical services for diverse building types and sectors.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and tender packages.
- Set and enhance electrical design standards within the organization.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Oversee the installation and quality of work on-site through to project completion.
- Provide tender analysis, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design teams and clients to define project scope.
- Confidently use tools like Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit to deliver exceptional results.
- Prepare budgets and comprehensive reports for clients.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
- Take ownership of projects, managing them from start to finish with minimal oversight.
