This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join a well established Civil Engineering Contractor working on a variety of civil and infrastructure projects across the Laois area. The role will involve civil works encompassing road construction, site development, underground utilities and the associated services. You’ll be joining a company with its own fleet of modern plant and equipment, a strong reputation for technical capability and safety excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day to day engineering operations across various civil engineering projects.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior engineers and site teams, ensuring outstanding technical delivery and quality standards.
- Oversee setting-out, QA documentation, as-built records and compliance with design and statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold a strong safety and performance-driven site culture.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in a civil engineering role in Ireland.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
