The Role: Regional Health & Safety Manager
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing health and safety performance across a portfolio of large construction projects throughout Dublin.
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Director, you will provide strategic support to project teams while managing and mentoring a team of four Senior Health & Safety Officers. You will work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, site teams and client representatives to ensure consistent implementation of company standards while maintaining excellent relationships across all stakeholders.
The role offers a mix of site visits, client engagement and leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for an experienced construction Health & Safety Manager looking to step into a regional position with genuine influence across multiple flagship developments.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the Irish construction industry
- Proven experience managing Health & Safety across multiple construction projects is required
- Experience leading and mentoring Health & Safety Advisors or Senior Health & Safety Officers
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction legislation and current industry best practice
Preferred Experience
- Experience on high-rise residential, mixed-use or large commercial developments
- Previous client-facing experience with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Experience working for a main contractor on large-scale building projects
- Chartered membership or progress towards IOSH or equivalent professional body is beneficial
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction on health and safety across several live construction projects
- Support, mentor and develop a team of Senior Health & Safety Officers across the Dublin region
- Carry out regular site audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Work closely with project management teams to continuously improve safety performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently implemented across all projects
- Monitor incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Review project documentation including RAMS, safety plans and compliance records
- Provide guidance to senior management on legislative updates and emerging industry trends
- Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, engagement and visible leadership
