Job title: Quantity Surveyor – Major Data Centre Project
Location: Sweden
Company: European Data Centre Contractor
Package: €65,000 to €70,000 + €250 net weekly living away allowance + accommodation + return flights
The Company
This European contractor is delivering a major €multi million data centre development in Sweden, with a strong workload across the mission critical construction sector.
They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to the commercial team in Sweden, supporting cost control and subcontractor management across a technically demanding data centre project.
The Role: Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the commercial and project delivery teams, supporting the financial management of key packages from procurement through to final account.
You will be involved in subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, cost reporting and commercial administration, helping maintain strong cost control throughout the project. These are core responsibilities on comparable Swedish data centre QS roles.

You will be a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor with solid construction experience and a good understanding of subcontractor accounts, procurement, variations and cost reporting.
You should be organised, confident dealing with site and commercial teams and comfortable working on a major data centre project in Sweden.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline required
- Proven experience required across subcontractor management, valuations and variations
- Must be comfortable working overseas in Sweden
Preferred Experience
- Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
- Main contractor or specialist contractor background beneficial
- Experience on large scale construction projects advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assess subcontractor accounts and payments
- Support procurement and subcontract package management
- Prepare valuations, variations and applications for payment
- Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial risks
- Assist with monthly commercial reporting
- Support final account preparation and agreement
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams on cost and programme matters
