The Project – Galway City Centre
You’ll be joining a major urban redevelopment project in the heart of Galway — a landmark mixed-use scheme set to transform the area. The development includes modern commercial and residential spaces, significant public realm improvements, and complex transport and infrastructure upgrades.
This is a technically challenging and high-profile project that will define the city’s future, offering an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to gain experience on a career-defining build with a Tier 1 contractor.
The Role – Quantity Surveyor
Working closely with the Senior QS and Project Commercial Lead, you’ll manage costs, contracts, and procurement across key packages on this flagship project. You’ll play an integral part in ensuring financial control and value management throughout every stage.

- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned project packages.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages, including tender analysis and negotiation.
- Liaise with site teams, clients, and consultants to ensure accurate cost control.
- Identify risks and opportunities to maximise project value.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
