The Company
This specialist contractor has a strong track record delivering complex fit out and construction packages across Ireland and Europe, with particular experience in technically demanding data centre environments.
With a growing pipeline of data centre work, they are looking to strengthen their Dublin commercial team. The position is primarily based in Dublin, Co Dublin, with approximately monthly travel to live projects in Finland.
The Role: Quantity Surveyor
This Quantity Surveyor position will involve the commercial management of fit out packages on data centre projects, working from Dublin with regular travel to Finland.
You will work closely with the commercial and project delivery teams, taking responsibility for cost control, subcontractor accounts, variations, valuations and commercial reporting. The role will suit a Quantity Surveyor who wants exposure to major European data centre projects without committing to a permanent overseas rotation.

About You
You will be a Quantity Surveyor with a practical understanding of commercial management within the construction sector. You should be comfortable dealing with subcontractors, project teams and senior management while maintaining strong control over project costs.
Experience in data centres or fit out would be particularly relevant, although candidates from other technically demanding construction sectors will also be considered. You must be comfortable with the monthly travel requirement to Finland.

- Must have previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and variations is required
- Must be comfortable travelling to Finland approximately once per month
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding required
- Data centre project experience preferred
- Fit out or specialist subcontractor experience beneficial
- Previous experience working on projects across Ireland or Europe would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial aspects of data centre fit out packages
- Prepare valuations, cost reports and commercial forecasts
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts
- Identify, price and track variations throughout the project
- Monitor project costs against budgets and agreed targets
- Liaise closely with project managers and site teams in Dublin and Finland
- Maintain accurate commercial records and contract documentation
- Assist with monthly reporting and project financial reviews
- Support the commercial team through to project completion and final account
About You
