The Company
This established Irish residential developer has a strong pipeline of large-scale housing developments across Dublin and Louth and the surrounding counties, with a continued focus on build quality, consistency and high standards of finish.
With an office base in North Dublin, Co Dublin and active residential sites across Dublin and Co Louth, the business is looking to strengthen its quality function with the appointment of an experienced Quality Manager.
The Role: Quality Manager
The Quality Manager will take overall responsibility for quality standards across a number of residential developments in Dublin and Co Louth.
This is a flexible role split between the North Dublin office and live construction sites. You will manage two QA Inspectors already working on the ground, providing direction, reviewing findings and ensuring quality systems are being applied consistently across each development.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, technical teams and subcontractors, you will identify quality issues early, drive corrective actions and ensure homes are delivered to the required standard through construction, snagging and handover.

About You
You will have a strong residential construction background and understand the level of detail required to consistently deliver quality homes.
You should be comfortable moving between several live developments, dealing directly with Site Managers, subcontractors and QA personnel while maintaining a practical approach to resolving quality issues.
Strong communication and leadership skills are important, as you will be responsible for setting standards across the sites and managing the two QA Inspectors reporting directly into you.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have strong quality management or senior construction management experience within residential construction
- Proven experience required on large-scale housing or apartment developments
- Must have a strong understanding of construction quality, finishes, snagging and technical compliance
- Experience managing QA Inspectors, site teams or quality personnel is required
- Must be comfortable travelling between residential sites across Dublin and Co Louth
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with an Irish residential developer or main contractor preferred
- Knowledge of BCAR and Irish Building Regulations beneficial
- Experience developing and improving construction quality procedures
- Strong understanding of residential handover and close-out processes
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall quality function across multiple residential developments
- Lead and support two QA Inspectors operating across live sites
- Carry out regular site quality audits and inspections
- Review QA reports and ensure defects or non-conformances are closed out promptly
- Work with Site Managers and Project Managers to improve construction quality throughout the build
- Monitor workmanship across structure, envelope, internal finishes and external works
- Ensure subcontractors are delivering works in line with drawings, specifications and agreed quality standards
- Maintain consistent quality procedures and inspection processes across all developments
- Identify recurring quality issues and implement practical preventative measures
- Support snagging, pre-handover inspections and final quality reviews
- Provide regular quality reporting to senior management
