Based on a large residential development in North Galway, Co Galway, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor known for delivering well-planned projects, maintaining high construction standards, and investing in long-term career development.
The Role: Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a large-scale residential development in North Galway, Co Galway. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will oversee the project from construction through to completion, ensuring programme targets, quality standards, commercial objectives, and health and safety requirements are achieved.
You will lead the site management team, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with the commercial and design teams to ensure the project is delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 8 years' experience in a Project Manager role with an Irish main contractor.
• Proven experience delivering large residential developments is required.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
Preferred Experience:
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore, BIM 360 or similar.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of programme delivery from site commencement through to handover.
• Lead and coordinate site management teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to specification.
• Monitor project budgets and work closely with the commercial team.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality control and health and safety.
• Coordinate with design consultants, suppliers and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve construction issues to minimise programme delays.

You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering residential developments for Irish main contractors. You are confident managing multiple stakeholders, leading site teams, and driving projects to successful completion while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and programme delivery.
