Dublin, Co Dublin
Leading M&E Contractor
€75,000 to €95,000 DOE
The Company
This leading M&E contractor delivers complex data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects across Ireland and Europe.
With a strong pipeline of major projects secured over the coming years, the company continues to expand its engineering division and is now seeking an MV Specialist Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of medium voltage infrastructure across multiple projects.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer from a consulting engineering background to move into a project delivery environment while maintaining a strong technical focus on electrical design, power systems, and engineering excellence.
The Role: MV Specialist Electrical Engineer
The MV Specialist Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, review, coordination, and technical delivery of medium voltage and critical power infrastructure across major construction projects.
Working closely with project managers, construction teams, consultants, equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure electrical systems are designed, coordinated, and delivered in line with project requirements, programme objectives, and industry standards.
This role would particularly suit an Electrical Design Engineer or Power Systems Engineer currently working within a consultancy who wants to become more involved in project delivery, construction support, commissioning, and technical decision-making on major live projects.
Must Have Requirements
You are currently working within a consulting engineering environment or have previously worked in one and have developed strong technical design capabilities.
You are looking for an opportunity to move closer to project delivery while maintaining a strong engineering focus and developing broader exposure to construction, commissioning, and project execution.
You enjoy working directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and manufacturers and want to see your designs progress from concept through to commissioning and handover.
What’s on Offer
Salary: €75,000 to €95,000 DOE
Benefits:
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer or Power Systems Engineer to join a leading M&E contractor delivering some of Ireland's most technically complex projects.
You will gain exposure to both engineering design and project delivery while working alongside experienced construction and engineering professionals on major infrastructure, pharmaceutical, industrial, and data centre developments.
The role offers strong career progression, technical development, and the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond traditional consultancy work.
