We are seeking an MEP Design Manager (Mid-Level) with a strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background to play a key role in delivering high-value construction and engineering projects based out of Co. Kildare.
This is a technically-driven role involving design coordination, project delivery oversight, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on industrial, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing projects.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to major projects for high-profile clients, working closely with project managers, engineers, and pre-construction teams to ensure accurate, practical, and compliant designs are delivered on time and to specification.

MEP Design Manager Skills:
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) background with experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects.
• Proven experience managing MEP design packages and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in reviewing design drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Ability to identify design risks, propose value engineering solutions, and resolve technical issues.
• Strong experience with design software, BIM coordination, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Suitable for candidates with hands-on MEP experience or relevant mechanical, electrical, or plumbing qualifications.
As an MEP Design Manager:
• Lead and coordinate all MEP design activities across projects.
• Review client specifications, drawings, and design submissions to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and pre-construction teams to ensure design alignment and constructability.
• Manage design risks, value engineering opportunities, and technical issue resolution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers on design inputs and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and client expectations.
• Support design documentation, method statements, and project handover requirements.
The Package:
Salary will be €60,000–€75,000 per annum depending on experience, with a competitive package including company vehicle, pension, bonus, and more.
